Dan Slipkovich

Dan Slipkovich


Dan Slipkovich is a nationally recognized health care industry leader with over 35 years of broad-based experience and a long track record of success in the facility-based provider space. Throughout his career, Dan has had operational responsibility for more than 250 hospitals across 35 states, including acute care and behavioral facilities. Dan is the founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Capella Healthcare, where he provided operational and financial expertise to community hospitals. Dan has also served on various boards and in executive leadership positions including as a senior executive at HCA and HealthTrust hospitals, SVP Operations and Founding Member of LifePoint Healthcare, President and Chief Operating Officer of Province Healthcare, and most recently, director and Chief Executive Officer at Quorum Health. Dan earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from West Virginia University and attended graduate school at the University of Miami and Virginia Tech.

Dwight Lacy - Chief Operating Officer

Dwight Lacy is Chief Operating Officer for Summit BHC. Dwight joins Summit most recently from Acadia Healthcare where he was a Group President overseeing the operations of 40 facilities, primarily in the western & southwestern United States as well as Missouri, North Dakota, Tennessee & Wisconsin. Prior to that, Dwight was a Regional Vice President with Universal Health Services (UHS). Mr. Lacy has 20 years of executive level leadership responsibilities in both for-profit and non-profit settings that includes senior executive level leadership, hospital management, finance and accounting management and oversight of human resources management along with consultation services.

Paul Gilbert, Summit BHC’s Chief Legal Officer, oversees legal and compliance matters, bringing extensive experience to the organization. Previously, he held executive roles including Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Secretary for Rite Aid, partner at Epstein Becker & Green law firm and Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Governance Officer at LifePoint.  Gilbert holds degrees from Vanderbilt University School of Law and Wake Forest University and is a Nashville Health Care Council Fellow.

Crissy Carlisle


Crissy Carlisle serves as Interim Chief Financial Officer for Summit BHC, bringing extensive leadership experience in financial operations, accounting, and investor relations. Prior to joining Summit, Crissy was the CFO of Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, where she led accounting and financial teams, overseeing month-end close processes, SEC reporting, treasury, risk and insurance, taxes, and internal audit. Before that, she spent 16 years at Encompass Health Corporation as Chief Investor Relations Officer and Vice President of Financial Reporting. She began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP spending seven years in their audit practice and three years in their corporate recovery practice. Crissy is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an accounting degree from the University of Alabama and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University. Her expertise in financial management and strategic leadership supports Summit’s continued growth and operational excellence.

Daniel Krasner - Executive VP of Business Development

Daniel Krasner is the Chief Marketing Officer for Summit BHC, where he leverages over a decade of expertise in business development, strategic marketing, and leadership within the behavioral healthcare industry. His extensive experience includes serving as the Executive Vice President of Business Development for Summit BHC. Daniel has played a pivotal role in Summit’s growth and success.

Kim Brady - Senior Vice President of Human Resources

Kim Brady is the Chief Human Resources Officer of Summit BHC. Ms. Brady has more than 23 years of behavioral healthcare experience and was previously Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Summit. Prior to joining Summit, Ms. Brady was the Chief Human Resources Officer for Acadia Healthcare where she oversaw the human resources and payroll functions. She was with Psychiatric Solutions prior to joining Acadia in 2011.

Daniel Krasner - Executive VP of Business Development

Kira Mann has been Chief Compliance Officer for Summit BHC since joining the organization in 2023. Prior to joining Summit, she served as legal counsel for Cigna Healthcare and Acadia Healthcare. She also has years of experience advising a variety of healthcare organizations and providers on regulatory and compliance matters. She received her law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law and her undergraduate from Miami University.

Jeanne Sands - Chief Information Officer

Jeanne Sands is the Chief Information Officer for Summit BHC. Jeanne has led high performing technology teams for more than twenty years across the country for payor and provider-based healthcare companies. Most recently, Jeanne was with SSM Health in St. Louis, MO, where she served as enterprise leader delivering key digital, EHR, imaging, and system strategies while improving the patient and clinician experience.  Her prior experience includes Regional CIO of Oklahoma for SSM and CIO of Presbyterian Healthcare Services. Jeanne holds a bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and is currently pursuing her doctorate at Central Michigan University.

John Flanagan - Vice President of Development

John is the Vice President of Development for Summit BHC. In this role, John will be exclusively focused on developing new SUD locations for Summit. John has more than 30 years of experience in the behavioral healthcare industry. Most recently, he served as CEO of Northpoint Recovery. Prior to Northpoint, John was Senior Vice President of the Western Division for Springstone, a full-service behavioral healthcare company. John’s passion is bringing quality substance abuse and mental health services to communities in need. Over the past ten years, he led efforts in market entry and startup operations in 12 different states across the country.

Brian Brooker - Senior Vice President of Quality & Compliance

Brian Brooker is Senior Vice President of Quality & Compliance for Summit BHC. Brian brings a wealth of educational knowledge and experience to Summit. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Incarnate Word University, Master’s degree from Columbia Southern University in Healthcare Administration and a Doctoral Degree from Nova Southeastern doing his Dissertation on Cultural Competency in Healthcare. Brian is Board Certified in Psychiatry and Mental Health, Executive Administration, Anger Resolution and Healthcare Accreditation. Most recently Brian served as Vice President of Clinical and Regulatory Services for Signature Healthcare Services.

Clay Phillips - Senior Vice President of Strategy and Managed Care at Summit BHC

Clay Phillips is Senior Vice President of Payor Engagement for Summit BHC. Mr. Phillips comes to Summit after 15 years at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, where he most recently served as Vice President of Network Innovation. He led the company’s strategic development in value-based contracting initiatives as well as quality performance programs. He and his team also implemented new models of care delivery and alternative payment programs.

During his time at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Phillips served as Associate General Counsel, Director of Government Relations, and Director of Provider Relations and Communications. Prior to joining Blue Cross, Phillips was an attorney with Miller & Martin, PLLC, where his practice focused on health care law, insurance regulation, and government relations.

Caleb Rich is the Vice President of Admissions for Summit BHC. Mr. Rich has over 15 years of experience in sales leadership, coaching and development. He is passionate about providing great customer experiences to our clients and their families. Prior to joining Summit, he led behavioral healthcare admissions departments at Foundations Recovery Network and UHS.

Rob Norris

Division Vice President of Substance Use Disorder Facilities

Rob Norris is Division Vice President of the Substance Use Disorder Facilities for Summit BHC. Mr. Norris was formerly Group CEO for Acadia Healthcare. Mr. Norris also served as executive director of Clearbrook Lodge, and director of utilization review at Clearbrook Treatment Centers. He is a graduate of Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University. Mr. Norris has always focused on client-centered care. Patients first!

Selene Hammon

Division Vice President of Acute Psychiatric Facilities

Selene Hammon is Division Vice President of Acute Psychiatric Facilities for Summit BHC. She brings more than 20 years of experience in executive positions in various psychiatric care delivery environments. Her proven track record of overseeing inpatient and outpatient services, combined with her entrepreneurial background and experience as a CEO of large behavioral healthcare systems in the southwest, makes her well-equipped to guide Summit Acute Psychiatric facilities.

Rob Turner - Division Vice President

Rob Turner is Division Vice President of the Acute Psychiatric Facilities for Summit BHC. He began his career as a mental health technician at a residential facility for adolescents and has worked in all levels of care including hospitals, behavioral health residential treatment centers, day treatment and other outpatient programs as well as private practice settings. Since 2002, Mr. Turner served as a Chief Executive Officer in acute psychiatric hospitals beginning in Alabama, North Carolina, and Nevada. More recently, he served in multi-facility roles as a Group CEO and later as a Division President for Acadia Healthcare.

Melanie Greenwood

Division Vice President of Substance Use Disorder Facilities

Melanie Greenwood, RN


Melanie Greenwood, Division Vice President for Summit BHC, oversees the West Division of the organization’s Substance Use Disorder facilities. She previously served as Market CEO for facilities in Texas and Louisiana. Melanie has an extensive and successful leadership record, marked by a results-driven approach to fostering positive cultures and achieving excellent patient outcomes. A registered nurse, Melanie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She has held both staff and management roles at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA, and St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston, TX. Her clinical expertise, combined with her background in substance use disorder care, enhances her ability to build teams centered on compassion, exceptional patient experiences, and comprehensive training. She is committed to providing the highest standards of client care.
