Company initiates search for permanent CEO to usher in next era of patient-centric growth

Dan SlipkovichFranklin, TN – December 3, 2024 – Summit BHC (“Summit”), a leading provider of high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health and addiction treatment services, today announced the appointment of Dan Slipkovich as Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Slipkovich succeeds Brent Turner and will lead Summit while the company conducts a search for a permanent CEO.

Slipkovich joins Summit as a nationally recognized health care industry leader with over 35 years of broad-based experience and a long track record of success in the facility-based provider space. He is the founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Capella Healthcare and has served on various boards and in executive leadership positions including as a senior executive at HCA and HealthTrust hospitals, SVP Operations and Founding Member of LifePoint Healthcare, President and Chief Operating Officer of Province Healthcare, and director and Chief Executive Officer at Quorum.
