This event will be held at the Franklin Marriott, Cool Springs.

Travel & Accomodations:

Please make your own Flight Arrangements and expense the charges. Hotel reservations will be made by Michelle McCabe.

Transportation Options:

I thought this was supposed to happen in May! Why is it in October now?

We rescheduled the Business Development Leadership Conference for the Fall, specifically, October 9-10, 2025 and we made this decision for a couple of reasons including:

  • We will have the ability to get a jumpstart on 2026 Strategic Plans through organized workshops with our National Team, Alumni, Finance, Tactical Recovery, Digital and Marketing
  • It will give us an opportunity to jumpstart the 2026 budget process for admissions and inquiries and give you a voice in that process
    Where will the conference take place?

    Once again, we will be hosting at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs at 700 Cool Springs Blvd, Franklin, TN 37067. This hotel is across the street from our corporate offices.

    What is the closest airport/train station to the venue?

    Nashville International Airport is the closest for this event.

    What is the new schedule?
    1. Start: Thursday, October 9 at 8 AM
    2. End: Friday, October 10 at Noon

    We will post an agenda for the event as the date draws nearer. Plan on getting to Nashville Wednesday, October 8 so we can all start bright and early Thursday, October 9.

    Are there shuttle services provided from the airport/train station to the venue?

    We recommend renting a car through National.

    Uber or Lyft can also be a good choice.

    Is there parking available at the venue?

    Yes! There is ample parking in the lot in front of the Marriott.

    What about food?

    We will provide breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks on Day 1. And breakfast and a light lunch on Day 2.

    Thursday night, teams will meet up and go to dinner at The Factory at Franklin. Each team’s leader will choose from a variety of restaurant venues at The Factory so let them know what you would like to have before. Restaurants include (but are not limited to) Edley’s Bar-B-Que, Hattie B’s Hot Chicken, Mojo’s Tacos, Otau Ramen, Slim + Huskey’s Pizza and more. Check it out here:

    What should we wear?

    The attire for the all conference events is Business Casual, however, we will be offering headshots at the conference on Day 1, so if you want your photo taken, please be sure your attire is appropriate for a corporate headshot.

    Can I get a portrait photo/headshot at the Conference?

    Yes! We will be taking portrait photos of attendees at the conference that you can use as your official headshot. These will be taken on Day 1, so please be sure you dress appropriately on that day if you want your photo taken.
