Brentwood, TN – Summit BHC (Summit), a leading provider of addiction treatment and behavioral health services, today announced the opening of Twin Lakes Recovery Center. Located east of Atlanta in Monroe, Georgia, the 55-bed residential treatment facility will be Summit’s first in the state. The residential facility is set on 34 acres of beautiful, secluded property that will provide residential addiction treatment services to adults. Summit also announced the opening of an outpatient program located in Gainesville, Georgia.
“The opening of Twin Lakes is very exciting for Summit as we have extensive experience in the Georgia market. As a company and leadership team we are passionate about providing quality care to the people we serve,” stated Trey Carter, CEO and Founder of Summit. “Twin Lakes is our eighth residential treatment facility. We couldn’t be more proud to launch a new program in Georgia,” commented Mr. Carter.
“Untreated addiction destroys the lives of the addicts, their families and adversely affects our communities,” says Reese Daniel, CACII, Twin Lakes Recovery Center’s CEO. “Recovery is possible with the right tools. Twin Lakes Recovery Center’s fundamental goal is to restore individuals to a healthier, happier, more productive life, free from dependence on alcohol, addictive chemicals, and destructive behaviors. Our treatment approach starts with the belief that each person has the potential for change and growth. The key is to help each individual move toward continuous improvement, deeper relationships, and greater joy, even in the face of difficulty,” stated Mr. Daniel.
About Twin Lakes – Twin Lakes Recovery Center offers a multi-disciplinary treatment approach through a continuum of care that includes detoxification and highly structured residential programing, as well as outpatient treatment services. Twin Lakes Recovery Center’s credentialed and compassionate staff will utilize a variety of treatment modalities to help clients build a solid foundation for lasting recovery. The program has a strong family component and views this as an integral part of the overall treatment and recovery process. Family members will participate in a two-day Family Recovery Program in which they join other families and receive education about the disease of addiction and co-occurring behavioral health disorders. Families will gain insight into the roles they have played in the family system and how they can best support the client in their continued long-term recovery. Family members are encouraged to create a support system of their own and provided with skills and resources to support them as they go through their own healing process.
